Bleached paperboard, or solid bleached sulfates (SBS), is premium grade paperboard produced from a minimum of 80% virgin bleached wood pulp. Most SBS is coated with a thin layer of kaolin clay to improve the printing surface or can also be coated with polyethylene (PE) resin to strengthen wet food packaging.
